I updated my mix template recently and have had a few requests to share it. Again, it might have plugins you don’t own, so be prepared to swap a noise reduction or EQ out with your favorite flavor! Note- this template does not include plugins. See the attached image for a complete list of plugins used in this session.
This is a modern, updated template with folder tracks and routing folders. So you can mix with VCA’s or use the routing folders for global adjustments. Compressors are bypassed by default on source tracks, I only use them in specific cases. This template also includes a WEB MIX aux and print track so you can bounce or record a mix that will be 8dB hotter than your “broadcast” or theatrical mix.
